A native of Syracuse, N.Y., Kelly relocated to the Charlotte area in 2015 to pursue greater opportunity in her 20-plus-year career in banking as a mortgage loan processor… and to get away from the cold and snow!
While in North Carolina she still has to deal with cold weather from time to time, for the most part there is no snow, thus, Happy Kelly!
In early 2018, housing interest rates spiked and Kelly was laid off from her mortgage job. She took the lay off and turned it into a positive, which sparked a career change.
Always one to keep her home meticulously clean, fashionably decorated, neat and organized, Kelly decided to step away from the office life and give house cleaning a try. She joined a Charlotte-area maid service and began cleaning homes throughout Mecklenburg and surrounding counties.
In January 2019, Kelly decided to once again step out of her comfort zone and start her own residential house cleaning service with her husband, Keith.
Charlotte House Cleaners was born and in a very short time we’ve grown our customer base to over 40 regular clients and we've added a small, reliable staff of cleaners in addition to Kelly and Keith!
